Use short prompts, not paragraphs. A card asking “What is the difference between ama and undigested food in this context?” demands reasoning. A card saying “Read the chapter on ama” only demands recognition.

Interleaving prevents the illusion that a single pattern explains everything. Study fever beside agnimandya, ama, inflammation-like presentations, and dehydration-related patterns; compare them by cause, dosha, signs, stage, and management principle.

The aim is not to force modern disease categories onto Ayurveda. It is to practise discrimination—the ability to identify why superficially similar presentations require different interpretations.

Oral recitation has a legitimate place in Ayurveda education. It supports pronunciation, sequence, concentration, and rapid access to foundational material.
